Watch Video: Hassan Nasrallah’s Final Speech Before Fatal Israeli Strike

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered a powerful speech on September 19, denouncing Israel’s recent attacks across Lebanon. Nasrallah framed the escalating violence as a potential “declaration of war” and vowed that Israeli aggressions would be met with “a just punishment”.

Nasrallah’s speech came amid heightened tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, where clashes between Israeli and Hezbollah forces had intensified.

Reflecting on the recent Israeli strikes that killed 32 people and disrupted Hezbollah’s communication networks, Nasrallah described the situation as “big tests.”

He urged his followers to remain resilient, stating, “The important thing is not to let the blow knock you down, no matter how big and strong it is, and I tell you with all reassurance, confidence, and reliance on God that this big, strong, and unprecedented blow did not knock us down and will not knock us down, God willing”.

Addressing both Israel and supporters of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, Nasrallah declared, “We say to the enemy’s government, army, and society that the Lebanese front will not stop before the aggression on Gaza stops. We have been saying this for 11 months”.

Just days after this speech, Israeli forces targeted Hezbollah’s central headquarters in an airstrike, killing Nasrallah and senior Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Aqil. The Israeli military described the operation as part of its broader efforts to weaken Hezbollah.

Despite international pressure, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue the strikes on Hezbollah’s military capacities and senior commanders. The battle has led to considerable displacement, with over 200,000 people forced to leave their homes in Lebanon.
