In a recent tweet, filmmaker Laxmi Kanth confirmed that the highly anticipated film “Coolie,” starring superstar Rajinikanth, will not be part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Instead, it will stand alone as a unique project.

Kanth tweeted, “#Coolie – will not come under LCU… It’s a Standalone film…✅ I’m trying to wrap the film in 6 months…👍 Superstar #Rajinikanth will join back the sets on Oct 16…🔥”

Production Details

Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to be an action-packed commercial film, typical of Rajinikanth’s style. The film’s production is on a fast track, with the team aiming to complete shooting within six months.

Rajinikanth’s Return

Rajinikanth, who recently underwent surgery, is expected to rejoin the sets on October 16. His return is highly anticipated, and fans are eager to see him back in action.
