The report uncovered that the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) troops had sliced off Sinwar’s fingers to confirm that the Hamas chief was dead.
It also revealed severe injuries, including a smashed forearm likely caused by shrapnel.
The reason underlying the gruesome act
The act was done for the dead body’s ” DNA Profiling ” to compare it with the profile Sinwar had when he was behind bars in the Jewish country for two decades until he was released in 2011 in a prisoner-swap deal.

The actual reason for the death
Sinwar died of a gunshot that pierced his head, according to Dr. Chen Kugel, Director of Israel’s National Forensic Institute, despite being hit by a tank shell fired by IDF at the concealment where the Israelis believed the Hamas leader may have been camping.
I’m sure I’ve seen Hollywood movies that end like this. But this was no movie.
Prior to the footage, #Yahya_Sinwar is wounded by a tank shell and loses his hand. He throws grenades at advancing Israeli soldiers. They run away.

What’s the way ahead?
Sinwar’s death marks a monumental loss for Hamas. However, Sinwar’s brother, ” Mohammad “, is now assumed to take a pivotal.
Former British PM Rish Sunak, tweeted, “As leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar was responsible for horrific acts of terror. His removal marks a significant step towards justice. Britain must remain committed to supporting Israel’s right to defend itself against terror and to ensuring peace in the region.”
