At the inaugural NVIDIA AI Summit held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang engaged in a thought-provoking conversation about the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and India’s pivotal role in this global revolution.
Ambani emphasized the deep cultural connection between knowledge and prosperity in India, stating, “My version of NVIDIA is that ‘Vidya’ is an important Hindi word which means knowledge. When you actually devote yourself to the Goddess of Knowledge Saraswati, the Goddess of Prosperity Laxmi follows. Our first principle is knowledge revolution which drives prosperity across the world, and I think we are at the doorstep of new intelligence.”
Huang echoed Ambani’s sentiments, highlighting the transformative potential of AI in reshaping industries and economies. “India is not just a hub for IT; it is emerging as a global leader in AI. The synergy between NVIDIA’s advanced GPUs and India’s innovative spirit is set to drive unprecedented growth and development,” Huang remarked.
