To educate the public about the newly implemented laws, the Delhi Police organized a bike rally earlier today as part of the ongoing commemoration week. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both police personnel and local citizens, aiming to spread awareness about the recent changes in the legal framework.
The rally commenced from India Gate and traversed through key areas of the city, including Connaught Place and Rajpath, before concluding at the Red Fort. Participants carried banners and placards highlighting the key aspects of the new laws, which include the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) that replace the century-old Indian Penal Code (IPC), Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), and Indian Evidence Act.
Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora flagged off the rally, emphasizing the importance of public awareness in ensuring the effective implementation of these laws. “Our goal is to make every citizen aware of their rights and responsibilities under the new legal provisions. This rally is a step towards that direction,” he stated.

The bike rally is part of a series of events planned by the Delhi Police during the commemoration week, which includes workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs.
The rally concluded without any incidents, and participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative. “It’s a great way to learn about the new laws. The police have done a commendable job in organizing this event,” said Ramesh Kumar, a local resident who joined the rally.
