Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali with the brave personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF), Army, Navy, and Air Force at Lakki Nala in the Creek Area of Kutch, Gujarat. This remote and challenging region, known for its extreme weather conditions, served as the backdrop for the Prime Minister’s visit.

PM Modi, dressed in a BSF uniform, shared sweets and interacted with the soldiers, expressing his gratitude for their service. “Getting an opportunity to celebrate the festival of Diwali with the jawans is the biggest happiness,” he remarked, highlighting the significance of this tradition.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the harsh conditions faced by the personnel stationed in the Creek Area. “This area is both challenging and remote. The days are scorching hot and it also gets cold. The Creek area has other environmental challenges as well,” he noted. Despite these adversities, the soldiers’ dedication and resilience were evident.

The visit underscored PM Modi’s continued tradition of spending Diwali with the armed forces, a practice he has maintained since 2014. His presence and words of encouragement were a source of motivation for the troops, reinforcing the bond between the nation’s leader and its defenders.

As the soldiers raised slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai,” the festive spirit was palpable, reflecting the unity and patriotism shared among those present.
