‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’ Review: Prateik Babbar, Sayani Gupta’s Romantic Comedy

In the upcoming romantic comedy “Khwaabon Ka Jhamela”. Prateik Babbar will reunite with Sayani Gupta after the success of “Four More Shots Please”. The movie is getting ready for its direct-to-digital debut. Daish Alam directed the film, which offers a novel perspective on relationship issues.  The movie is gearing up for its direct-to-OTT release on JioCinema on November 8.

‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’ Plot

“Khwaabon Ka Jhamela” is a novel twist on romantic comedy, set against the backdrop of India and the United Kingdom. The trailer suggests that Zubin (Prateik Babbar), who has a talent for numbers, is the main character of the movie.

He is rejected when his friend Shehnaz (Kubbra Sait) declines his proposal because of his mistakes in the bedroom. However, his life takes a surprising turn when he meets Ruby (Sayani Gupta), an intimacy coordinator, who chooses to teach him the intimacy process in order to help him get back in touch with his crush. With a unique approach on love and self-discovery, This movie will takes you on a journey of personal development.

“Khwaabon Ka Jhamela is a lighthearted feel good rom-com, a genre I’ve never really had the opportunity to explore,” Prateik said in a statement regarding the movie. “Romantic comedies serve as a reminder that even though life doesn’t always add up, friendship and love always make it worthwhile.”

The film features Prateik Babbar as Zubin, Sayani Gupta as Ruby, Freddie Love as Quinn, Kubbra Sait as Shehnaaz, Anisa Butt as Nauheed, Ravi Multani as Rockstar, Amber Elizabeth as Olivia, and Tara Sumner as Anne, among others.

Production Team

It is directed and written by Danish Aslam, Vicky Bahri and Harman Baweja. Vicky Bahri has produced the film with Nitin Upadhyaya, Ignatius Rapose, Zia Khan, Omkar Joshi, Sameer Qasim Isa, Pammi Baweja, and Harman Baweja.
