“This woman’s objectionable video is being spread by petty haters on social media, claiming it’s me,” she wrote. To support her claim, Mona shared an actual screenshot of the woman in question, revealing her as a proven criminal.

Legal Action
Refusing to let this attack slide, Mona Alam filed an official police complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency Cyber Crime division in Islamabad.
In her complaint, she detailed the deliberate attempts to tarnish her spotless reputation. She provided links to the social media posts spreading the fake video and revealed that even senior journalists were sent the clip via WhatsApp.
