Thinner and improved new iPad Air appreciated by critics, but priced higher

Apple's iPad Air

Apple’s iPad Air was unveiled on Oct 29, 2013 and reviewers are already calling it as the best ever tablet. The iPad Air is a major improvement from its previous version with a slimmer, lighter design.

Many of Apple’s tablet apps like iMovie, iPhoto, Pages, Numbers, GarageBand, Keynote which cost usually $5 or $10 each are offered free with the new iPad. However the price is a bit higher than many of its competitors.

In its review, CNET said that iPad Air delivers more performance in an impossibly thin-and-light package. The front-facing camera and the retina display make it look great.

The fifth generation device in iPad line is almost similar to previous model, offering faster performance.
