Salman Khan is seen doing his ‘Dabangg’ dance in various movies. He has already excelled his own tapori dance steps. But when it comes to dance forms, even his hardcore fans know that it is disastrous. Hence the way he does Garba in the newly released song ‘Photocopy’ from “Jai Ho” might be as expected.
Music director Himesh Reshammiya, who has given many best popular tunes like “Teri Meri” with Salman Khan, has once again sung for this song. The female voices are lent by Keerthi Sagathia and Palak Muchhal. The lyrics of this number are penned down by Kausar Munir.
The film which was initially titled as “Mental” got changed later to a more patriotic name “Jai Ho”. Salman recently said that if the earlier working title of “‘Mental’ was retained people may have stated calling him as Mental Khan which may be a problem not to him but for other Khans. He added that his father also didn’t like the title “Mental” and hence he had suggested “Jai Ho” which was liked by him.
Actress Daisy Shah who had worked as a background dancer in Salman Khan’s earlier movies is debuting from “Jai Ho” as a leading lady. The actress was seen in an item number in Hindi film ‘Bloody Ishq’ and in Kannada version of “Bodyguard”. She worked as assistant to popular Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya.
Directed by Sohail Khan, “Jai Ho” is scheduled to be released on January 24, 2014.
