Ajith Kumar, who is referred as the King of Opening at Box Office in Tamil industry has returned with his latest flick “Veeram”.
The Tamil action masala movie is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Vijaya Productions.
The film featuring Tamannaah, Vidharth,Santhanam, Bala, Pradeep Rawat, Nassar and Abhinaya has released on January 10, 2013.
The film is also being dubbed and released in Telugu as “Veerokkade”. “Veeram” received a U certificate from censor board.
Music of the movie is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography is by Vetri and editing is by Kasi Viswanathan. The story of “Veeram” is Bhoopati Raja and Siva.
Expectations are sky high already and the opening is expected to be wonderful again for this film. However the movie is clashing with a biggie “Jilla” starring Vijay.
Hence both movies are set to eat into each other’s revenues. In spite of such a huge challenge, Ajith Kumar’s movie is all set to emerge as a winner at the Box Office.
A theatre owner in Chennai said that they have never seen such a craze for tickets during Pongal festival. Fans of both the actors are ensuring to get tickets. Hence the first weekend is already fully booked in advance.
The movie did wonderfully well in India and overseas at the box-office by collecting Rs 30 plus crores in its first weekend. Competed fiercely with Vijay’s “Jilla”.
