The scheme is said to be the world’s most extensive health program, which envisages building quality Healthcare in every district with an outlay of Rs 64,180 crore in 5 years.

BJP National Youth Icon and Bangalore MP Tejaswi Surya appreciates the launch of Ayushman Bharat #HealthInfrastructureMission by PM Sri Narendra Modi from BMCRI today.

About Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission

Along with Ayushman Bharat, the world’s most extensive health program, this scheme envisages building quality Healthcare in every district with an outlay of Rs 64,180 crore in 5 yrs.

Ayushman Bharat #HealthInfrastructureMission aims to build an IT-enabled disease surveillance system to fill critical gaps in public health infra, especially in urgent care & primary care.

All Indians will have full-range access to diagnostic services across the nation.

#HealthInfrastructureMission also aims to operationalize four new regional National Institutes of Virology, mark 50 international points & digitize the passenger database.

This adds fillip to India’s preventive measures to fight future virus outbreaks in all aspects.

#HealthInfrastructureMission enhances the capacity for analysis & forecast of 33 disease outbreaks.

15 Biosafety Level III laboratories along with 5 New Regional Branches of the National Centre for Disease Control will also be set up under the mission.

National Institution for One Health will be set up under the #HealthInfrastructureMission

It will also support 17,788 Rural Health & Wellness Centres in 10 High Focus States & 11,024 Urban Health & Wellness Centres will be established in all the States.
