Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar has reportedly died after suffering a cardiac arrest on Friday in Bengaluru.
While working out in the gym today morning, Cinema Express reported that he collapsed and was rushed to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru.
Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai was present at the Hospital to check on Punnet’s health.

Puneet’s elder brother, actor Shivarajkumar and actor Yash were also present at the hospital premise.
Sathish, the personal manager of Puneeth, confirmed the news of his passing away.
The entire South Indian film industry is shocked by the news of the popular actor who was also the son of the late Dr. Rajkumar.
Puneeth recently promoted Shivarajkumar’s “Bajrangi 2,” which was released on Friday. He even tweeted wishing the film luck today morning.

The hospital sources revealed that ‘he was non-responsive and had a history of chest pain.
Media and fans fondly named him “Powerstar.” Puneet’s films were always a box-office success considering his acting ability and the presence of DR Rajkumar songs in his movies.
