Mukesh Ambani family relocating to London: ‘Unwarranted and baseless speculation’ says Reliance

Reliance Industries has issued a statement to the media regarding reports on Mukesh Ambani and their family moving to London to partly reside in their newly acquired 300-acre Stoke Park estate. The statement said the Ambani family has no plans whatsoever to relocate or reside in London or elsewhere in the world!

Reliance denies news reports

Reliance clarified that it acquired the heritage property Stoke Park estate lately to improve it as a premier golfing and sporting resort.

Reliance statement is as below

“A recent report in a newspaper has led to unwarranted and baseless speculation in social media regarding the Ambani family’s plans to partly reside in Stoke Park, London.”

“Reliance will like to clarify that the Chairman and his family have no plans whatsoever to relocate or reside in London or anywhere else in the world,” the company said in a statement.

The purchase of Stoke Park estate will add to the fast-growing consumer market of the group, Reliance said.

“Simultaneously, it will also expand the footprint of India’s famed hospitality industry globally,” the statement added.

During the pandemic, the family spent time at their Antilla home in Mumbai and also at their Jamnagar facility.
