The mob supporting Donald Trump sabotaged the United States Capitol in Washington D.C. on January 6.

The reason was evident, to overturn the election decision and make Joe Biden’s win futile.

The Committee Chairman Bennie G. Thompson along with the House committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol is primarily focusing on the former President Donald Trump reported The Washington Times.

Hence, the committee is directing the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation against Donald Trump.

The Analysis of the January 6 attack on the Capitol

The 2020 presidential election was seeing a clear win, for now, President Joe Biden against Donald Trump.

The supporters of Donald Trump aimed to overturn the election poll by mobilizing the joint session of Congress assembled to count electoral votes.
As the rioters made their way in the building assaulting law enforcement officers and thrashing the building property for several hours. The police authorities had lawmakers and staff evacuated.
Just before the attack, pipe bombs were discovered near the complex.
