Joe Biden and Narendra Modi Held A Virtual Meeting

On Monday, US President Joe Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a diplomatic version of the appealing force digital conference, with Washington struggling to compel India to pursue the US Nato line on Russia. Despite their disagreements on the Russia-Ukraine conflict remaining unchanged, both sides moved forward with alternative areas of collaboration, such as confronting the possibility of catastrophic global food scarcity as a consequence of a prolonged conflict between Russia-Ukraine.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated today that during his interaction with US President Joe Biden, he volunteered to equip the globe with India’s food reserve if the World Trade Organization (WTO) complied.

Food stocks are diminishing around the world as a result of the war (in Ukraine), according to Prime Minister Modi, who spoke via videoconference at the Shree Annapurna Dham Trust’s dormitory and schooling center in Adalaj, Gujarat.

Statement of Joe Biden after the Virtual meeting

At an online conference on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden had a “forthright conversation of views” on Russia’s war in Ukraine, after which the US said “India will make its very own judgments” on the conflict, but that the “tight relations between China and Russia” would “undoubtedly influence their intellect.”

During the discussion, PM Modi stated that he had proposed direct talks involving Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and that the crisis in Ukraine was “extremely disturbing.”

PM Modi also alerted US President Joe Biden of New Delhi’s strong disapproval of Russian violence against citizens in Ukraine’s Bucha and displayed optimism that the “ongoing talks among Russia and Ukraine will open the way for peace,” as he spoke about India’s efforts to Ukraine in the basis of medicines and relief material.
