Tamil actor Vikram was hospitalized on Friday just a few hours before his teaser launch event of his film Ponniyin Selvan. The actor was supposed to attend the teaser launch of his upcoming movie, Ponniyin Selvan, which is scheduled to happen at 6 pm in Chennai, before which he complained of discomfort.
In contrast to the sources, who claim that Vikram suffered from a heart attack, Vikram’s publicist confirmed that the actor has been taken to the hospital because of a high fever and is fine now. He also added that Vikram will be discharged soon and awaits the release of his upcoming film Cobra.
According to reports, it is said that Vikram underwent angioplasty on July 7. The actor was supposed to attend the teaser launch of his upcoming film, Ponniyin Selvan, which is scheduled to happen later today at 6 pm in Chennai.

Ponniyin Selvan: I also known as PS-I, is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language period action drama film directed and co-produced by Mani Ratnam. Vikram is the lead actor of the film. It is the first of two cinematic parts based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel Ponniyin Selvan. The film is written by Ratnam along with Elango Kumaravel and B. Jeyamohan.
