BTS to feature in three new Disney+ programs, HYBE signs deal

HYBE, A Korean Music Company, July 12, joined hands with The Walt Disney Company APAC (Asia-Pacific Region) and signed a multi-year deal.  

Under this deal, it is said that HYBE will be collaborating with TWDC to showcase the creative excellence of the Korean music and entertainment industry on a global scale. This will be a great platform for the Korean Music Company to showcase its talent on a global platform.

A total of five different programs produced by HYBE will be released. The five programs are said to be released on Disney + Hotstar.

Out of these face programs, two programs will be starring BTS members on their song ‘PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LOS ANGELES’, held last year in November at LA’s So-Fi Stadium.

The second program is a chronological documentary that is recording BTS’ history from its debut to its present, which will include the group’s music and videos over the past nine years and content about how the members gained their present position of success.

Further, the docuseries will showcase BTS going through their daily lives, their current thoughts, future plans, and their stories as they prepare for their second chapter, Titled ‘BTS MONUMENTS: BEYOND THE STAR.’ This will be available on Disney + Hotstar, Disney’s streaming channel.

The third program has been previously announced as ‘IN THE SOOP: Friendcation’, starring BTS’ V, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Sik, and Peakboy.

It is scheduled to premiere on July 22, and the upcoming series has been made with the idea to showcase their friendship as they take a special trip to enjoy the space “between daily life and rest”.
