England had lost the previous two T20I matches against India which was a big drawback for the England team but somehow the team managed to win the last match of the three-match test series on Sunday, at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

India was beaten by 17 runs and won a consolation win in the third match for England. The hosts had restricted India to 198/9 in 20 overs, with Reece Topley taking three wickets. Meanwhile, Chris Jordan and David Willey took two wickets each.

For India, Suryakumar Yadav targeted 117 runs off 55 balls but ended up not receiving support from his teammates. England posted 215/7 in 20 overs because of a knock of 77 runs off 39 balls by Dawid Malan. Meanwhile, Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel took two wickets each for India.’
