‘Aagadu’: Shruthi Hassan to flaunt her dance and singing skills

Not every actress can be seen grooving to a song with her own voice being featured in the background. But Shruthi Haasan has got ample talent to do that.

According to Indfia Today on July 27, the upcoming   Telugu flick “Aagadu” will have Shruthi Haasan swaying to her dance numbers to a song which has been sung by the actress herself.

Shruthi has recorded the song composed by S Thaman, which would be his 50th venture in the film industry.

Director Srinu Vaitla took delight in hitting Twitter stating that Shruthi has been roped in to perform the item number as well as sing it.

“Shooting a special song today with the very special and multi talented Shruthi Hassan (sic). Not only a great dancer but also a superb singer. Thank you for singing for this special song,” he tweeted.

It’s not the first time her voice is been featured in movies, but in fact the singer turned actress has made her mark on the industry through singing, much before trying out her skills in acting.

She has also composed the music for the film “Unnai Pol Oruvan”, directed by none other than the legendary actor Kamal Hassan, father of Shruthi.

Set for release on 19th September, Aagadu is an action flick with Mahesh Babu and Tamannah portraying the lead roles and also features Sonu Sood, Brahmandam and Napolean.
