Car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of Ciaz after showcasing the model in Paris automobile show.
The launch is to be done on October 6, 2014.
The new sedan by Maruti is supposed to compete with Honda City, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid, Nissan Sunny and also with Hyundai Verna.
Bookings for Maruti Ciaz started in September with an amount of Rs.21000. Maruti has chosen the right time to launch the car as Diwali is approaching and people are looking forward to one of the most trusted brands in India.
The bookings showed a good response and waiting period of two months is reported irrespective of the kind of model of Ciaz.

Having interesting specifications, Ciaz is expected to outperform in sedan cars. It has to offer two kinds of engines.
One of the engines is a 1.4-litre K10B petrol having 91bhp and the other one is 1.3-litre diesel having 89bhp. These engines are also used in other brand’s cars. Download the brochure.
Ciaz will be available in 4 different variants with classes V, V+, Z and Z+ in seven different shades.

The highest versions of the model will have advanced and enhanced features like 16-inch alloys, touch screen system for entertainment and information regarding performance and status, air-vents in the rear of the car, temperature control as well as keyless entry in the car.
As far as the pricing is concerned, it is expected to be starting from Rs.7.25 Lakh and reach up to 10.5 Lakh.
It is also expected that Maruti might plan to launch the CNG variant of Ciaz if the demand requires.
