Misbah and Pak players celebrating a wicket

Dubai is going to be scorching hot for the entire day, which certainly would add much pressure on both sides, adding more exhaustion.

For the Australian side, the winner of the T20 was none other than Glenn Maxwell, who got three major wickers to restrict the opponents on a small score of 96. Of course, one also has to credit David Warner for scoring those good 53 runs of just 39 balls.

Things will change with the new format today, but the form of the players will remain a concern for the Waqar Younis’s side. The Pakistan coach had expressed his concerns on the 50-over format.

The match goes live on Tens Sports in India, Fox Sports in Australia and Zee Cinema in UK. Fans in Pakistan can watch the match live on PTV.

For Pakistan, the main concern lies in finding a star player, especially when Saeed Ajmal is banned for illegal bowling action. Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq will surely need to find the replacement and get going.

The team will check on Raza Hasan, who had two wickets in the T20, while the loss of Mohammad Hafeez for a hand injury is hard to deal with.

However, the Aussies are in no good condition either. They don’t have Mitchell Marsh and Shane Watson, and to add to the damage, Michael Clarke is also missing.

Keeping the 2015 World Cup in mind, both teams will look to gain some confidence, but yes, the Aussies are looking better on paper for sure
