After a lavish sangeet and mehendi functions at the Chattarpur Farms in New Delhi, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza finally tied the knot on October 18, 2014 with Sahil Sangha.
The actress was all blushing at the event in Delhi, which was only attended by close friends and relatives.
Dia’s wedding was in the Arya Samaj style as she had wanted, at a farm in Ghitorni in New Delhi, a report on India Today revealed.
The “Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein” actress has been very friendly to the media both during the pre-wedding and wedding day functions. She came out with her husband and posed for the shutterbugs waiting outside.
Dia is from Hyderabad with a Bengali mother, and she added some Hyderabadi style to the clothing.
The actress chose to a Kumar collection in blue, while her husband and director Sahil Sangha chose to wear a stunning outfit by designer Raghavendra Rathore.
If reports are to be believed, actors like Zayed Khan, Cyrus Sahukar, Lara Dutta and Sushmita Sen have attended the wedding.
Dia has been long waiting for the wedding to happen as Sahil had already proposed to her during an award show in Tampa Bay.
The duo own a production house named Born Free Entertainment and produced two movies. The first one “Love Breakups Zindagi” was directed by Sahil himself.
The second movie they have produced is Vidya Balan starrer “Bobby Jasoos”.
The couple has no plans for a honeymoon for now, according to speculated reports.
