The City of Coachella, in partnership with Mission Asset Fund, launched a groundbreaking program to support 140 families in their financial recovery journey.

The Coachella Immigrant Families Recovery Program’s application deadline will soon arrive; this financial aid is expected to support immigrant families who weren’t eligible to receive federal assistance related to the Covid-19 pandemic, like expanded child tax credits and many more.
The city of Coachella launched the program alongside the non[profit organization Mission Asset Fund. They started receiving applications this past October 12.
“We have developed a comprehensive universal basic income program that targets our most vulnerable residents,” Coachella’s Mayor Steven Hernandez mentioned.
Eligibility requirements and how to apply?
Applications for the Coachella Immigrant Families Recovery Program end on November 11 at 5:00 p.m. PT.
To be eligible, an individual must be a Coachella resident with an individual income below $75,000 or a household income below $150,000 in their 2021 tax returns.

The applicant must also be at least 18 years old, have a governed ID with their picture on it, and have a child or dependent living with them during the last year.
The 140 recipients of this financial aid will be selected based on the program’s decision o, f who’ll benefit the most from this assistance; those who received this help will be notified in December 2022.
Applications must be filled out online through the Mission Asset Fund’s website.
