As per the early trends, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has registered a morning occupancy in the range of 18-22% on Day 7.

The overseas gross on day six is Rs 16 crore. In just six days, ‘Pathaan’ has recorded $27.56 million (Rs 224.6 crore) in overseas territories alone, while nett collection in India stand at 307.25 (Hindi – Rs 296.50 crore, dubbed – Rs 10.75 crore). The movie is extremely close to surpassing the record created by SS Rajamouli’s “RRR”.

While there was a drop in the numbers when compared to the outstanding collections of Day 5, it still earned more than expected, reports Timesnow.
The film revolves around “Pathaan,” an exiled RAW agent who must work with the ISI agent Rubina to take down Jim, a former RAW agent-turned-traitor, who is planning to spread a deadly lab-generated virus across India.
The film was shot over various locations in India, Afghanistan, Spain, UAE, Turkey, Russia, Italy and France.
The music video of one song, “Besharam Rang,” featuring Deepika Padukone in a saffron bikini, led to protests by the #BoycottBollywood gang’s attempt to boycott the film.

Shah Rukh Khan addressed a media conference for the first time after the film’s release along with the star cast of “Pathaan” in Mumbai on Monday, January 31, 2023.. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who showered love on his comeback film.
Shahrukh Khan was visibly thrilled during the session, flanked by Deepika Padukone and John Abraham; he said, “I thank Aditya (Chopra, producer) and Siddharth… they gave me this opportunity. This is an expensive and time-consuming film, and to give me a film at a time when I was not working and allow me to be a part of it, I’m very grateful to them. I have forgotten the last four years in these last four days.”

“Pathaan” was released in standard, IMAX, and 4DX versions, in India on the Indian Republic Day weekend, along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu.
The movie was the first Indian film released in the novel ICE theatre format on 8000 screens worldwide, including 5000 screens in Hindi and 450 screens in Tamil and Telugu versions.
