‘Pathan’ Box Office Day 21 Collections; ‘Pathaan’ inches towards Rs 1000 Cr Worldwide

"Pathaan" Box Office Day 20 Collection Revealed! Is It Still Unstoppable?

With 950 crores in worldwide revenue, “Pathaan” is still a power to be reckoned with. It aims to surpass “Baahubali 2″‘s domestic Hindi box office total of around Rs 511 crore. “Pathaan,” Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback movie, has been in theatres for 20 days, but business continues to be strong.

‘Pathaan’ Worldwide Box Office

According to industry tracker Taran Adarsh, the action hit directed by Siddharth Anand earned Rs 4.6 crore on its 4th Monday, bringing its domestic total closer to Rs 480 crore.

The film continued to be the top option for viewers even in its 3rd weekend at the box office, with its Hindi collections reaching the Rs 471.85 crore mark, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

The SRK-Deepika starter is also causing a stir on a global scale. It is anticipated to surpass Rs 950 cr today. “Pathaan” has been the first movie in UP and Delhi to gross over Rs 100 crore, according to Box Office India.

“Pathaan” is currently aiming for a domestic gross of Rs 500 crore, which will get it nearer to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’s all-time Hindi record gross of Rs 511 crore.

Even if “Pathaan” continues to maintain its fantastic momentum, it might take some time to get there because this Friday, two new films will rule the domestic market: “Shehzada,” starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and starring Paul Rudd & Jonathan Majors.

According to the Yash Raj Film’s official social media account, “Pathaan’s” worldwide box office receipts reached Rs 946 crore on Monday.

Shah Rukh Khan Returns To Leading Roles

Despite a few small obstacles, the film has done remarkably well for itself. Bollywood, sluggish after the pandemic, was single-handedly rejuvenated by the film, which saw superstar Shah Rukh Khan get back to leading roles after a long absence of four long years.

Deepika Padukone`s saffron bikini scene from action-thriller Pathaan has made it to the final cut even after getting mired in controversy.

No other Hindi film could draw spectators, except a few movies from the previous year, including titles like “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” & “Drishyam 2.”

Even high-profile films (such as several Akshay Kumar movies or Aamir Khan’s “Laal Singh Chaddha”) performed appallingly at the box office. “Pathaan” is also Shah Rukh’s highest-grossing movie to date.

It will be interesting to watch if the actor’s other two films this year, Rajkumar Hirani’s “Dunki” and Atlee’s “Jawan,” maintain their success, reports TheIndianExpress.
