In New Lenox, Illinois, the Property Tax Refund Program, which will start on March 6, provides citizens with a rebate. It will be targeted at people living in single-family houses, townhomes, apartments, or condominiums, typically costing $350. There will be 5,000 $450 rebate checks available in Maine for its roughly 880,000 inhabitants.

Those who qualify must have filed a Maine income tax return as a full-time resident for the 2021 tax year and, if they are single taxpayers, must make less than $150,000 annually, reports MARCA.
