The Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor movie made Rs 15 crore in India on its first release day. It maintained consistency for the following three days by bringing in Rs 10 crore daily. On Day 5, the first Saturday of the movie, TJMM’s box office haul massively increased.

According to The Economic Times reports on March 11, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ brought in Rs 16 crore. Hence, the four-day total revenue is Rs 52.59 crore. Thus on Saturday,’ Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ had a full Hindi occupancy of 20.94%.
About the movie
Earlier this year, When the title of the Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,’ was unveiled, it took many by surprise. Also, this marks the debut of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s onscreen collaboration and Shraddha’s return to the big screen after three years.
Public response
The romantic comedy movie, which Luv Films and T-Series Productions make, was written and directed by Luv Ranjan. The comedy king Anubhav Singh Bassi, legendary Dimple Kapadia, and Boney Kapoor all had significant supporting roles in the film. The addictive movie soundtrack is composed by none other than Pritam. All of the lyrics were written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The plot revolves around the leads, Ranbir and Shraddha, who fall in love quickly, yet breaking up with each other becomes a much more difficult task.
