'Pathaan' Total Worldwide Box Office Collection Report

Pathaan is a spy action thriller film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, was released on January 25, 2023, and has dominated the box office ever since.

It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and War (2019). The film follows Pathaan (Khan), an exiled RAW agent who teams up with Rubina Mohsin (Padukone), an ISI agent, to stop Jim (Abraham), a former RAW agent who plans to unleash a deadly virus across India.

– Pathaan became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 with a worldwide gross of ₹1,043.37 crore ($130 million) as of 17 March 2023 . It surpassed War’s record of ₹475 crore ($63 million) as the highest-grossing film of YRF Spy Universe .
– Pathaan became the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time after Dangal (2016), which earned ₹2,024 crore ($265 million) worldwide . It also became the fourth-highest-grossing film in India after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), Dangal and PK (2014) .
– Pathaan became the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film of all time after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion , Dangal , PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) . It also became the eighth highest grossing film of 2023 worldwide after Spider-Man: No Way Home , Avatar 2 , Jurassic World: Dominion , Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , Thor: Love and Thunder , Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Batman .
– Pathaan became Shah Rukh Khan’s first film to cross ₹500 crore ($66 million) mark in India and ₹1,000 crore ($131 million) mark worldwide . He joined Aamir Khan as the only Hindi film actors to achieve this feat . He also broke his own record of Chennai Express (2013) as his highest-grossing film ever.
– Pathaan became Deepika Padukone’s second film to cross ₹500 crore mark in India after Padmaavat (2018) and her third film to cross ₹1,000 crore mark worldwide after Padmaavat and XXX: Return of Xander Cage (2017). She also broke her own record of Chennai Express as her highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
– Pathaan became John Abraham’s first film to cross ₹100 crore ($13 million) mark in India and his highest-grossing film ever. He also received acclaim for his negative role as Jim.
– Pathaan became Dimple Kapadia’s comeback film after a hiatus of six years. She played Nandini Grewal, Pathaan’s senior officer at RAW. She received praise for her performance and screen presence.
– Pathaan became Ashutosh Rana’s first major role after a long time. He played Qadir Khan, a Pakistani army general who hires Jim for his revenge against India.
