Lenovo ushers in new Tab 2 A7-30 models to the Indian market

It’s been a busy time for Lenovo. The Superfish mess had been crippling down their nerves for days, which they are trying to mitigate with the launch of their new devices.

It was the heavily priced Yoga 3 convertible laptop that stole the entire attention from the Lenovo event recently. But alongside that, Lenovo made the debut of their mid-powered tablet variants to the Indian market, which in contrast offers a better value for the money you would be spending.

Tab 2 A7-30 is the new tablet arriving from the Chinese manufacturer, which has its pricing fixed around the opening five-digit figure.

The 7-inch tablet is presented with a display resolution of 7-inch display which showcases its visuals in a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.

Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, the A7-30 will have 1GB of RAM running its memory powers and will be accompanied by a Mali 400 GPU in the SoC.

The primary cam is of 2MP, and your selfie shoots and video conferences would be handled by a VGA camera on the front. No worries would be raised over its power requirement as the device would be run by a 3450mAh battery.

The storage spec would have its dependence upon the network variants of the newbie; 2G or the 3G one. While the 2G model will have a storage space of 8GB, the 3G variant has it doubled with the 16 GB on-board storage. Both of them do offer the option for an expansion, up to 32 GB.

The 2G model is made available for Rs 8500, while the 3G model arrives for a price of Rs 11800. The variants can be availed from any of Lenovo’s physical store located throughout the country.
