Khloe Kardashian recently discussed her relationship with her son Tatum, explaining how it differs from what she experienced after welcoming her daughter True, who she shares with ex-partner Tristan Thompson.
A Different Experience
Khloé Kardashian claims she doesn’t have the ideal connection to her son, Tatum.
She appeared on a recent episode of “The Kardashians” and explained how she felt “less connected” to her kid because of the surrogacy procedure after having him in July 2022 with the help of a surrogate.
Kim Kardashian, 38, stated in a conversation with her mother, Kris Jenner, that giving birth to her son instead of her daughter, True, 5, whom she gave birth to herself, has been a “very different experience” for her.
“With True, it took me a couple of days to be like, OK, this is my daughter,” Kardashian remarked.” With him, it’s taken me months. I love him, and I love kids, but I still don’t have that complete bond.”
A Tumultuous Birth
Due to the tragic paternity controversy involving her now-ex-fiance Tristan Thompson, the process of bringing son Tatum into her life was everything but simple.
While Khloé and Tristan were not just together but were actively trying to conceive their second child together, Tristan, who Khloé dated on and off for five years, secretly welcomed a kid with another woman.
The then-couple already had a daughter named True, who was five years old. They had restarted their romance after another one of Tristan’s adultery scandals. Tristan also regularly mentioned marriage with Khloé while supporting her to go with surrogacy, showing how invested he was in a future with her.
As per Buzzfeed, Khloé was unaware of Tristan’s paternity controversy until legal records were released online in December 2021, letting her and the “rest of the world” know about it at the same time.
