Sri Lankans, on the other hand, had outdone Pakistan by chasing their score of 287 runs. The game was a nail-biting one with regards to the bowling and batting proportion.

Kusal Perera turned out to be the man of the match for scoring a massive 68 in just 25 balls. This eventually helped the other batsmen to serve their performance and gain a crucial victory over the away team.

Sri Lanka is eyeing for Perera in the third match with a much graceful performance. Azhar Ali had remarked that after a tough batting performance by Perera, it was difficult for the players to come back with their bowling spells.

Despite such a great batting order for the Lankans, it is up to the middle order with the likes of batsmen like Chandimal, Angelo Matthews and Upul Tharanga to deliver some good batting strokes today.
