Michael Mann Provides Update on 'Heat 2' Movie

Michael Mann still wants to make “Heat 2”, the sequel to the 1995 classic Hear.

Last year, Mann published “Heat 2,” a prequel to the events of “Heat.”

In an interview with Variety, Mann was asked about ethical issues and whether he worried he wouldn’t have enough time to join “Heat 2”.

“The thing is, I don’t think about death. I don’t hoard things.” said Mann.”How does that make me feel? If I had to do “Heat 2”, I wouldn’t have fallen for this beautiful Ferrari story.

I spent two years writing the novel.”Fortunately hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list,” Mann added.

“Everything I’m interested in is what interests me and keeps me going.”But don’t be confused by Mann’s long answer.

The 80-year-old writer still enjoys bringing his novels to the big screen.Don’t get me wrong. I want to finish it,” Mann added.

“But if I don’t do that, I won’t be successful.

What to Expect in ‘Heat 2’?

“Heat 2” starts one day after the movie ends; As Chris shiherlis tries to escape from Los Angeles, the LAPD arrests Vincent Hanna after him.

The novel then flashes back to the year 1988, exploring the parallel lives of Hannah and Neil McCauley in Chicago.

“Heat 2” explores the rise of Hannah and McCauley in the 1980s and the aftermath of their 1995 romance.

“Heat” is written and directed by Mann; It stars Robert De Niro as McCauley and Al Pacino as Hannah.

The film marks the duo’s debut on the big screen together.

Starring Val Kilmer as Chris Shiherlis, Jon Voight as Nate, Tom Sizemore as Michael Michael Cheritto, Amy Brenneman as Eady, and Ashley Judd as Charlene Shirherlis.

Mann confirmed to many that Adam Driver had spoken to portray the young De Niro McCauley before the attack.

The driver will play Enzo Ferrari in “The Ferrari Man,” which will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on 31 August. Ferrari is scheduled to open in theaters on December 25.
