On Sunday, on Indian Air Force Day, the cast and makers of “Tejas” released the much-awaited trailer. It promises to be gripping and full of movies.

Written and directed by Glow, Sarvesh Mewara is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. The movie is expected to be released on October 27.

“Tejas” revolves around the remarkable journey of Tejas Gill, an Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot, to inspire and instill a deep sense of pride in every Indian. It portrays the dedication and challenges IAF pilots face as they tirelessly defend the nation.

The trailer for the film, being called ‘India’s first aerial action movie’, opens with a series of IAF fighter jets in combat. Next, it is revealed that an Indian spy has been caught in Pakistan, and Kangana volunteers to go on the daring rescue mission.

She reminds herself it is all about the country as she faces one hurdle after the other. At one point, she says, “Every time, dialogue cannot be the solution. Sometimes, you need to fight it out with your enemy on the battlefield.”

Sharing the trailer on X (Twitter), Kangana wrote, “Ab aasman se dushman pe waar hoga, ab jung ka elaan hoga! Ye woh Bharat hai, jisko chhedoge toh woh chhodega nahi (Now the enemy will be attacked from the sky, this is that Bharat that will not leave you if you touch it)!

About the Movie

“Tejas” was years in the making. The movie is planned to be released in December 2020. The Indian Air Force is the first Indian defense force to feature women in combat.

Actress Kangana Ranaut completed an extensive four-month training to learn the special war techniques used by the Indian Army.

“This time, there will be a soldier on the screen. The nation often overlooks the sacrifices made by our brave women in uniform.

“I think Tejas is a movie worth doing as a woman who puts her country before herself. I hope that we instill love and pride in today’s youth with this movie.

“Sarvesh and I am looking forward to the journey walk with Ronnie on this,” Kangana Ranaut told Mumbai Mirror in 2020 about the project.
