Amidst reports that the much awaited Xiaomi Mi5 will be launched on Dec5, 2015, A new Mi phone codenamed Gemini was spotted on website Geekbench.
The Gemini is said be equipped with a msm8996 chipset, in fact, it’s the internal name of the Snapdragon 820.
There are chances that the company might unveil the Snapdragon 820-armed Mi5 on Dec 3, with the handset available early 2016.
Also the Gemini consists of 4 cores (Qualcomm [email protected]) and 3GB RAM with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Qualcomm earlier revealed that its latest and powerful 820 processor is technically two times more powerful han its current Snapdragon 810.
It is also said to be 30 percent more power-efficient along with Adreno 530 GPU claimed to give a 40 percent better performance during playing games.
On the occasion of Diwali last week, Xiaomi had slashed the prices of all its popular smartphones like M4, Mi4i and Redmi 2.
With the Mi5, the latest Mi Pad was also spotted on Geekbench website.
The Mi Pad 2 is equiped with a 2.24GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor with 2GB RAM.
