Disney+ will have 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, streaming date revealed

“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will be released on Disney+; Harrison Ford’s final Indiana Jones movie will premiere on Disney+ on Friday, December 1. The movie was released in theatres in June.

Dial of Destiny, featuring the acclaimed multi-Emmy-winning actress and creator of Fleabag, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. However, it garnered the weakest reviews in the franchise. This movie, with a budget exceeding $300 million, had a lackluster domestic debut of $60.3 million.

Globally, it secured the fourth position in the franchise’s box office performance among the five films, grossing $383.9 million. It trailed behind Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ($790.6 million), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade ($474 million), and the series’ inaugural film, Raiders of the Lost Ark ($389.9 million). The lowest-grossing movie in the series was the second installment, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, with $333.1 million in worldwide box office earnings.

The star cast of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny includes Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is based on “Characters” by George Lucas and Philip Kaufman. Further, it is directed by James Mangold.
