Versova police claim to have acquired information regarding the “Pihu Official App,” a smartphone software available on the Google Play Store that charges users between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 10,000 to watch live sex.
The Versova police investigated the case on Sunday by raiding an apartment in a building in Four Bungalow, Versova, after confirming the information. Rudra Narayan Raut, 27, Tanisha Rajesh Kanojia, 20, and Tamanna, 34, were detained in the raid.

The three arrested people have been charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Information Technology (IT) Act for engaging in obscenity through computer devices, selling obscene material to minors, and engaging in obscene acts, according to an Indian Express report that quoted an officer. The app’s operator has also been identified in the FIR, according to police.
A guy from Tamil Nadu’s Thanjavur district was detained by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in a related case earlier this year on suspicion of owning and disseminating child pornographic material online.
A story claims that the accused, a 35-year-old man, has been assaulting a youngster sexually for the past four years. He had taken pictures and recordings of the child in their underwear.
