Bhatt’s deepfake video is not the first instance of this technology being used to target a celebrity. In recent months, other Indian actresses, including Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, and Kajol, have also had their faces superimposed onto other women’s bodies in deepfake videos.

Rashmika Mandana Deepfake

After her deep fake was made viral, south star Rashmika openly expressed her disappointment and spoke out about the dirty incident.

Rashmika said, “Firstly, when I saw the deepfake video, I was very scared and worried seeing all of this happening. I thought I would not get any support from the team. The first person to support me was Amitabh Bachchan. Eventually, more people came forward to support.”

“It made me feel secure,” she said, speaking about putting her foot down and taking action. “I want to tell all the girls out there that this is not normal. You don’t have to keep quiet when something is affecting you. You can take support, you can react, and people will support you. It’s a good country that we live in,” Rashmika added.
