Actor Sunny Deol has issued a clarification on a viral video that showed him seemingly inebriated while walking on the streets of Mumbai. The video sparked rumors that the actor was struggling with alcoholism.
In a statement released on social media, Deol denied the claims and revealed that the video was actually a scene from his upcoming film, “Safar.” He captioned the video, “Afwaahon ka ‘Safar’ bas yahin tak,” which translates to “The journey of rumors ends here.”
Deol’s clarification has put to rest the speculations surrounding his alleged intoxication. The video, which was shot in Juhu Circle, Mumbai, showed the actor in a white shirt and blue denim jeans, walking unsteadily and entering an autorickshaw.
