Boston Sephora Blackface Video Goes Viral, Chaperone Margarita Botto Identified Online

A video of the Boston Sephora store featuring a group of female teenagers wearing blackface inside the store has gone viral across numerous social media platforms. Youngsters were accompanied by a chaperone, whose identity has been debunked online. The Boston Sephora store has also released a “statement condemning the incident.

For those unaware, according to Wikipedia, blackface means “the practice of non-black performers using burnt cork or theatrical makeup to portray a caricature of black people on stage or in entertainment.”

As per media reports, a University of South California student, Temi Ojora, shared a video on her now-private TikTok account where young girls could be spotted doing blackface. She captioned her post as “genuinely so disgusting and disturbing.”

In the video uploaded on TikTok, which went viral later, a girl could be seen wearing dark makeup. She looked exactly like wearing a mask on her face.

In the video, girls’ chaperones could also be spotted. The Chaperon could also be seen strolling away from the camera. According to reports, one of the group’s girls and the chaperone confronted Temi Ojora and asked her to delete the video from TikTok. However, the TikTok video spreads to multiple social media platforms online, amassing millions of views. Several netizens also tried to identify the chaperone online. Surprisingly, they succeeded and discovered that the chaperonee was a Guatemala City resident named Margarita Botto.

The Chaperone, Margarita Botto’s Details Revealed

TikTok user @thatdaneshguy revealed that Margarita Botto is one of the teenage mothers hailing from Guatemala City. The user also revealed that Margarita works as a molecular biologist. No information about Botto could be extracted from her Facebook account either. However, Margarita Botto has not responded to this incident yet while writing this article.
