Song Joong-ki to make cameo in 'Queen of Tears'

Popular South Korean actors Kim Ji-won and Kim Soo-hyun’s upcoming drama ‘Queen of Tears will be released on March 9. Actor Song Joong-ki, who is known for his roles in dramas like ‘Descendants of the sun’, ‘Vincenzo’, and others, will make a special appearance in ‘Queen of Tears’.

‘Queen of Tears’ – A miraculous love story

Kim Soo-Hyun will star as Baek Hyeon-woo, the director of the conglomerate Queen’s Group. Hyeon-woo belongs to the village of Yongdu-ri. He came to the mainland and became successful in his career. He is the pride of his hometown, Yongdu-ri, and people look up to him.

Baek Hyun-Woo is married to Hong Hae-In (played by Kim Ji-won), who is the daughter of the family that owns and operates Queens Group. Hae-in -is famous amongst the employees for his ice-cold personality and is regarded as the arrogant queen of Queen’s Group. The story revolves around the hardships that the couple faces during their third year of marriage.

Song Joong-ki and Kim Ji-won stole the hearts of viewers with their roles in ‘Descendants of the Sun’. They were last seen together in the K-drama ‘Arthdal Chronicles’.

Now, with Ji-won’s latest drama, Joong-ki, although she will not share the screen space with her, she will have a short special appearance.

The two actors have developed a friendly bond while working together in previous dramas. Joong-ki agreed to star in Ji-won’s drama to show his support for the actress and wish her luck.
