The support Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided to Ayurvedic research will catalyse groundbreaking innovations in Poly-Scientific Ayurveda, said Ayurveda visionary Dr. Ravishankar Polisetty.
Highlighting Modi’s endorsement of Ayurvedic innovations in his speech on last year’s Ayurveda Day, Polisetty also emphasised that pharmaceutical companies promoting allopathic solutions do not improve the quality of life. He added that Ayurveda is already making a substantial impact in the global healthcare sector—from dynamic startups to new paradigms of wellness.
“Ayurveda, while deeply rooted in ancient Indian traditions, is now recognized for its scientific foundations that are backed with data and applied in health and medicine, which is bringing widespread global recognition. This has been possible with the support of the Indian Government and the Prime Minister’s innovative initiatives in this sector,” said Dr. Polisetty.
Holistic healthcare
He noted that India has underscored the importance of integrating traditional practices with modern techniques, paving the way for holistic healthcare. “This philosophy aligns seamlessly with the approach of Poly Scientific Ayurveda (PSA), which effectively amalgamates ancient wisdom with cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence. As countries grapple with solving the high cost of palliative care, PSA is leaving a significant imprint on the international healthcare sector, particularly in end-of-life care, where not just years but the dignity of the patient is also improved,” added Dr. Polisetty.
Super Indians-Gujarat Award
Expressing gratitude after receiving the Super Indians-Gujarat Award, presented by Bharat24 for ‘Excellence in Ayurveda’ at a function held in Ahmedabad on March 4, he said “Such honors are a real source of inspiration to him and his team to pursue further innovations in PSA”. Dr. Polisetty is the Founder & CEO of Sai Ganga Panakeia Pvt Ltd, which offers innovative medical solutions through a unique blend of Ayurveda and modern evidence-based medicine, providing solutions for end-stage diseases.
The Super Indians-Gujarat Awards were instituted to celebrate iconic Indians and highlight their immense contribution to the vision of a new India. Earlier, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel, presented the award to Dr Polisetty during the function held in Ahmedabad City Centre.
