‘Udta Punjab’ leaked online and available for download ahead of release!

The copy of the controversial Hindi movie “Udta Punjab” starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles, has been leaked online and was uploaded on social media sites one day before the release.

According to a report, published in the Times of India dates June 16, 2016, the producers of “Udta Punjab” have filed a complaint with the cyber police.

The Police are also tracing the IP address from which the film was allegedly uploaded.

The movie got all the publicity, good and bad after the India censor board headed by Pahlaj Nihalani suggested a massive 89 cuts.

Later, the video was taken the Revising Committee, which recommended just 13 cuts.

But after the makers refused to release the film with even 13 cuts, they filed a case, and the Mumbai High Court asked the censor board to release the movie with just one cut and to insert three disclaimers before the start.

the primary reason for the censor board to object the release with so many reductions in the theme of the movie which they allege that it shows Punjab in a bad light.

The film also revolves around the drug issues which is rampant in Punjab.
Earlier, the censor board chairman Nihalani had alleged that the movie has been made keeping in mind the assembly elections the state due this year.

He also added that the film is financed by the AAM Adami Party and all controversial scenes need to be deleted and that why the whopping 89 cuts were suggested.

Many celebrities are tweeting their fans to watch the movie only on theaters and not to destroy their two years of hard work of the people involved in making the movie.
