“Market Mahalakshmi“, a Telugu film, was released in theatres on April 19, 2024. It was helmed and written by VS Mukkhesh and features Parvateesam and Praneekaanvikaa in key roles.

The movie marks actress Praneekaanvikaa’s debut in the Telugu film industry. The trailer has created significant buzz and continues attracting more viewers each day.

‘Market Mahalakshmi’ plotline

The plot delves around a young man whose father persistently marries him off to a girl from an affluent family. But the man declines every relationship his father brings him. The man unexpectedly falls for a common girl who sells vegetables in the market. He tries to woo her but gets rejected. Persistently trying to win her over, he sets up a vegetable shop next to her stall. The movie is a romantic comedy produced by Akhilesh Kalaru under the B2P studios banner.

Harsha Vardhan, Mahaboob Basha, Mukku Avinash, Kedar Shankar, Meesam Suresh, Pooja Vishweswar, and Jaya Naidu are some of the actors who will be seen in significant roles in the film.

‘Market Mahalakshmi’ will also mark the first film for VS Mukkhesh as a director. Joe Emnav and Surendra Chilumula, respectively, composed the music and filmed the film.
