Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles was present at the LA premiere of Zendaya’s new movie ‘Challengers’. Tina praised Zendaya and said that she has been a fan of her since her initial acting days. She also said that Zendaya reminds her of her daughter, Beyonce.

Hollywood star Zendaya got a sweet remark from Beyonce’s mother who came to attend her movie premiere. When asked about Zendaya, Tina Knowles said – “Oh my God, I love Zendaya. The first time I saw her, I used to watch her in the Disney series what my grandson, and she just reeked of stardom, and she is just the most gracious, beautiful girl and she reminds me of my daughter. She’s the Virgo like my daughter.”

Challengers is a romantic sports comedy. The official synopsis of the movie read – “Three players who knew each other when they were teenagers as they compete in a tennis tournament to be the world-famous grand slam winner and reignite old rivalries on and off the court.”
Zendaya plays a mother on-screen. When asked about her experience, she said that “the mothers in my life and around me” inspired her to play Tashi Duncan. She further elaborated that she has spent a lot of time with her nieces and nephews over the years. Referring to her nieces and nephews as her “borrowed children”, Zendaya said that it has helped her to develop motherly instincts which she was able to transfer to her portrayal of Tashi Duncan.
Beyonce’s latest album
Beyonce’s dropped her latest album- Act II: Cowboy Carter. Her latest endeavors secured the number 1 position on Billboard 200 for two weeks straight, making her become the first Black Woman to top Billboard’s country chart album.
During the 2024 Grammy Awards, Beyonce came fully dressed in cowboy clothing. During the Super Bowl, she released two country songs – Texas Hold ’Em and 16 Carriages.
