According to the New York Times, Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s ex-wife and Robert F Kennedy Jr’s vice-presidential pick, Nicole Shanahan, had an affair with Elon Musk in 2021. This affair led to her separation and divorce. Shanahan reportedly received $1 billion in her divorce settlement last year.

The New York Times has published new details about the alleged romance between Nicole Shanahan and Elon Musk, which they both deny.
Shanahan is a 38-year-old lawyer who married Brin in 2018. During her marriage, she dated Silicon Valley celebrities and used many recreational drugs including ketamine, cocaine and psychedelic mushrooms.
According to New York Times, the three also said Shanahan took ketamine at a party with Tesla founder Elon Musk. It was a difficult time and they had to take care of their daughter. During this time, Shanahan began going out more without her husband. The affair between Musk and Shanahan took place later that year.

The party in question took place in December 2021 and was hosted by Elon Musk’s brother, Kimbal Musk, in Miami.
During the event, Elon Musk took ketamine with Shanahan and the two “disappeared together for several hours,” said four people.
Shanahan later told her then-husband Sergey Brin that she had a sexual encounter with Musk. She also made the same claim to friends and family.
About two weeks after the party, Breen and Shanahan split. She filed for divorce in 2022 citing “irreconcilable differences.”
