Watch: Indian-Origin Astronaut Sunita Williams Celebrates Arrival at ISS with Joyful Dance

NASA’s Boeing Starliner launched safely from the Cape Canaveral Space Station in Florida and arrived safely at the International Space Station (ISS). The spacecraft was piloted by Sunita Williams and crew member Butch Wilmore, both former NASA astronauts.

As expected, the sight of the plane’s launch and arrival at the International Space Station received media coverage. She showed herself jumping with joy at the station and greeting the passengers boarding the boat. Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams were greeted by International Space Station personnel after their first trip from Earth aboard Boeing’s Starliner aircraft.

The film begins with Williams entering the International Space Station after the Starliner docks next to the International Space Station’s Harmony module. As she walked, she started dancing happily with a big smile on her face. She then hugged the spaceman who welcomed her.

According to NASA, Williams and Wilmore performed “a demonstration of the Starliner” and “completed a period of sleep” during the journey from Earth to Space Station Earth. Sunita Williams spent 322 days in space, working two jobs. She made her first voyage in 2006 and her second voyage in 2012. She has completed seven walks so far.

So glad those two made it safely to ISS. In no way you can declare that it was a successfully executed, though. Hopefully, lots of soul searching and reflection coming.
