Apple Announces Dates For iPhone 16 Launch Event

Apple has officially announced the event for the launch of its next mobile in the iPhone series: the iPhone 16. The tech giant has revealed that it will be releasing the new iPhone series shortly. The company has been sending out its unique Apple event invitations which apparently have a mysterious message. The iPhone 16 unveiling event will be held on September 9.

There have been a lot of rumors and speculations going around the market regarding the new iPhones and their launch event. Earlier, it was rumored that the event would be held on September 10, but it seems like Apple has made some changes. The Apple event invitation contains the Apple logo with a message that says, “It’s Glowtime.” The event will take place at 10 am PT at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park and will be streamed online.

Apple Announces Dates For iPhone 16 Launch Event

Since the announcement of the iPhone 5 in 2012, Apple has consistently released new iPhones in the month of September. This year, we might expect new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro versions to be announced at the event. However, the company hasn’t revealed any announcements it will be making at the event.

Expected announcements

Apple is likely to announce four new iPhone 16 models: the iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Plus, the iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. MacRumors suggests that the new iPhone 16 series will have slight enhancements over the current versions of iPhones. These include slightly bigger displays for the Pro phones, an Action Button, a redefined camera bump for the non-Pro phones, and faster CPUs for both.

AI and Apple Intelligence are also expected to be in the light at the event. Currently, Apple Intelligence is supported on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, however, it is rumored that the entire iPhone 16 series will support it now.

Apple is also likely to release three new Apple Watch models, including the Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, and a more inexpensive Apple Watch SE. The company might also announce the second generation of AirPods Max, as well as two new AirPod models. Furthermore, Apple will announce the release date for iOS 18 and other software upgrades for its devices at the event.
