• November 15: Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th.

December 2024 Payment Schedule

• December 1: SSI payments will be distributed.
• December 3: Social Security recipients who have been receiving benefits since before May 1997, as well as those who receive both SSI and Social Security, will get their payments.
• December 10: Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 1st and 10th.
• December 17: Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th.
• December 24: Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st.

Impact of COLA on Payments

The 2.5% COLA increase will be applied to payments starting in December 2024 for SSI recipients and in January 2025 for Social Security beneficiaries.

This adjustment aims to help beneficiaries keep up with rising costs of living, ensuring that their purchasing power is not eroded by inflation.

“The COLA for 2025 will introduce a 2.5% increase in monthly benefit checks,” said an SSA spokesperson
