Video: Ryan Williams’ Electrifying 75-Yard TD Seals Alabama’s Victory Over Georgia

Alabama’s freshman wide receiver Ryan Williams delivered a stunning 75-yard touchdown catch to secure a dramatic 41-34 victory over Georgia. The game, held at Bryant-Denny Stadium, saw Alabama nearly squander a 28-0 lead before Williams’ electrifying play turned the tide.

With just over two minutes remaining and Alabama trailing 34-33, quarterback Jalen Milroe connected with Williams on a perfectly placed pass. Williams, showcasing his agility and speed, executed a spin move to evade Georgia defenders and sprinted to the end zone, igniting the home crowd.

“I can’t get tackled,” he said late Saturday night. “I just had to do my part in helping us finish that game,” Williams said. “We’d come too far. Somebody had to make a play.”

The touchdown culminated in a standout performance by Williams, who finished the game with six catches for 177 yards. His heroics didn’t end there; earlier in the game, he made a crucial 54-yard catch that set up a field goal, demonstrating his reliability in high-pressure situations.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, who threw the decisive pass, praised Williams’ performance. “He’s only going to get better, and the best thing about him is that he’s always working, always doing something to become a better player,” Milroe said. “The work in the dark that not everyone sees.”
